• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field with a major in Accounting
• Commencement of CPA or an equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Experience using Xero is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Prepare clear, accurate, and concise work papers as evidence of work performed
• Prepare management accounts and supporting reports
• Help identify and escalate accounting issues as required
• Apply basic Australian tax compliance procedures
• Assist with Australian tax planning activities for clients
• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
• Complete required regulatory forms and documentation
• Comply with lodgment program requirements by meeting lodgment deadlines and obligations
