- Provide advice, information and instruction on local QHSE issues. Helps promote QHSE awareness.
- Help manage risk and hazards in their area and submits report to Branch Asst. Manager/Branch Manager
- Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measure.
- Inspect workplaces to enforce safety laws.
- Examine ways to improve health and safety standards.
- Responsible in the segregation of cargoes received and dispatched in the warehouse and correctly tagged them in accordance with the customer mode of shipment
- Properly receives cargoes in the warehouse and ensures that it is covered with proper documentation as prescribed by the customer and in accordance to the department procedure
- Responsible in the proper and timely checking of cargo labelling and adherence to the warehousing procedure and customer requirement
- Operates warehouse equipment such as forklift, as may be required.
- Preparation of the required customer warehouse reportorial such as, but not limited to, Activity Report, Truck Manifest and warehouse inventory report, final expense statement and other warehousing reports
- Monitors stripping and stuffing operations
- Supervise Barge/LCT Operations – if needed
- Submission of all corresponding reports both internally and externally
- Other tasks deem necessary for the operations
