Key Responsibilities
  1. Facility Operations and Maintenance
  • Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of buildings, offices, warehouses, production support areas, and common facilities.
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facility assets.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, fire protection, and building systems.
  • Monitor facility conditions to ensure optimal functionality and operational efficiency.
  1. Utilities Management
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of utilities, including:
  • Electrical distribution
  • Water supply and treatment
  • Compressed air systems
  • HVAC systems
  • Sewage and drainage systems
  • Monitor utility consumption and recommend initiatives to improve energy and water efficiency.
  1. Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure facility compliance with food safety standards, including GMP, HACCP, and sanitation requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to facility management.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and environmental requirements.
  • Maintain documentation related to inspections, permits, maintenance activities, and compliance records.
  1. Contractor and Vendor Management
  • Supervise contractors performing repairs, renovations, pest control, landscaping, cleaning, and other facility services.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate procurement of facility-related materials and services.
  1. Safety and Security
  • Ensure facilities comply with fire safety regulations and emergency preparedness plans.
  • Conduct routine facility safety inspections and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Security and EHS teams to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and business continuity initiatives.
  1. Budget and Cost Control
  • Prepare and manage the facility maintenance budget.
  • Monitor maintenance expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of maintenance resources and materials.
  1. Team Leadership
  • Supervise and develop facility technicians, maintenance personnel, and outsourced service providers.
  • Assign daily work schedules and monitor performance.
  • Conduct coaching, performance evaluations, and skills development.
  1. Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare maintenance schedules and reports.
  • Maintain records of preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, permits, and contractor activities.
  • Analyze facility performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; Professional Engineering License is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in facility management, building maintenance, or engineering operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of facility maintenance systems, utilities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), preventive maintenance, food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000), occupational safety, environmental compliance, fire safety, budgeting, and CMMS.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, problem-solving, communication, vendor management, negotiation, organizational, and report-writing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
