We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Librarian to manage and oversee the school library’s daily operations and learning resources for our branches in Metro Manila - Caloocan, East Rizal, Quezon City, Paranaque, Pasig, Sta Mesa, Manila.
The ideal candidate will support students, faculty, and staff by providing accessible, organized, and up-to-date library services that promote academic excellence and research development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS) or related field
- Must be a Registered Librarian with a valid PRC License
- At least 1 year of related experience is an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledgeable in library systems, cataloging, and research assistance
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital library tools
- Patient, detail-oriented, and service-oriented
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily library operations, including circulation, cataloging, and inventory of resources
- Assist students and faculty with research and reference inquiries
- Maintain and organize print and digital library collections
- Ensure proper classification and preservation of library materials
- Promote library programs, services, and reading initiatives
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate library records
- Support accreditation requirements related to library services and resources
- Coordinate acquisition of books, journals, and other learning materials
