Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Croissant Baker with a passion for laminated pastries. You’ll be responsible for producing a wide range of croissants—from classic butter to filled and flavored varieties—while ensuring top-quality standards and consistent taste.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of croissants (plain, chocolate, almond, etc.) according to established recipes and standards.
  • Mix, knead, and ferment dough to achieve the desired texture and flavor for laminated pastries.
  • Roll and fold dough with butter (lamination process) to create light, flaky layers typical of croissants.
  • Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure consistent quality and prevent overbaking or underbaking.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in all baking and kitchen processes.
  • Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to maintain consistency and minimize waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, tools, and baking equipment.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and informing supervisors when ingredients need to be restocked.
  • Experiment and innovate with new croissant flavors or fillings to enhance the bakery's product offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen or bakery team to meet production deadlines and ensure timely delivery of baked goods.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in baking, especially laminated dough or croissants (preferred but not required if trainable)
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for high-quality pastry work
  • Ability to work early morning shifts or flexible hours as required
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
