What is the job?
The Credit and Collections Specialist is responsible for following up on outstanding debts to ensure the organization minimizes losses and maintains timely collections.
Responsibilities:
- Collects overdue accounts and reduces outstanding receivables
- Conducts inbound/outbound calls and written follow-ups
- Negotiates payment plans, credits, and settlements
- Researches and resolves account issues and discrepancies
- Performs skip tracing to locate customers
- Documents activities, provides updates, and suggests improvements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years collections or customer service experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in Microsoft 365 - Finance and Operations (F&O) within the Credit and Collections module.
- Experience using JD Edwards ERP system.
- Experience in Microsoft Office systems.
