Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced L3 Cloud Support Developer to provide advanced cloud platform and application support for enterprise systems, including CGI’s proprietary IP system, CACS X. This role is responsible for handling L3 escalations, complex cloud and infrastructure issues, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of CACS X environments.Training on CASC X will be provided, and the successful candidate is expected to rapidly build deep technical and functional knowledge of the platform.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Cloud Platform Support & L3 Incident Management- Provide L3 support for complex and high-severity cloud infrastructure and application incidents
- Administer, monitor, and support Azure and/or GCP environments across production and nonproduction
- Diagnose and resolve cloud-related performance, availability, and security issues
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes and preventive measures
- Support application teams with cloud deployments, configuration changes, and environment setup
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and architecture teams on cloud enhancements and fixes
- Contribute to cloud optimization, cost management, and operational improvements
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to L1/L2 support resources
- Support cloud resource provisioning, scaling, patching, and environment maintenance
- Ensure platform stability, availability, and compliance with operational standards
- Participate in on-call rotations and critical incident support as required
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
High Priority (Must-Have)- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven experience handling L3 cloud support in production environments
- Minimum 5+ years of cloud infrastructure and support experience
- Solid Linux experience (command line usage, troubleshooting)
- Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Bash, Python, or similar)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (VPC/VNET, firewalls, routing)
- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently on complex issues
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure in mission-critical support environments
- Experience working in Agile or ITIL-based support models
- Must be amenable to working onsite 3 days a week in McKinley, Taguig
- Hybrid work setup
- Shifting schedule / on-call support as required
