Wireless Engineer (Service Desk)

We are looking for Telecom Network Operations professionals with strong experience in wireless and wireline broadband environments. The role involves network monitoring, incident handling, troubleshooting, escalation management, and operational support within a fast-paced telecom operations setting.
Candidates must have hands-on telecom experience supporting wireless technologies, broadband networks, NOC operations, or service desk environments.
Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for telecom network incidents and service requests
- Perform initial troubleshooting, issue isolation, resolution, and escalation within SLA targets
- Monitor network alarms, alerts, and overall network performance
- Log, categorize, prioritize, and track tickets using service management tools
- Coordinate with NOC teams, field engineers, and vendors for issue resolution
- Provide incident updates and operational reports to stakeholders
- Support root cause analysis and continuous service improvement initiatives
- Follow ITIL-based incident and service management processes
- Maintain operational documentation and knowledge base records
- Minimum 1 year of experience with wireless technologies including 4G and 5G
- Familiar with site frequencies and network capacity concepts
- Understanding of telecom equipment naming conventions
- Knowledgeable in vendor platforms such as Nokia, Huawei, and ZTE
- Able to explain network flow from antenna to throughput/Mbps delivery
- Hands-on experience using telecom tools/software such as PRS and U2020
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Telecom Network Operations, NOC, or Service Desk Network Operations environments
- Experience with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and incident management
- Strong understanding of telecom network troubleshooting and performance analysis
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- ITIL knowledge is an advantage
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge is a plus
