Job Overview

The Area Cashiering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall cashiering operations across assigned stores. The role involves leading and developing the cashiering team, ensuring efficient daily operations, maintaining compliance with company policies, and supporting store performance through effective supervision and coordination.

This position directly reports to the Manager – Cashiering Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations
  • Supervise, lead, and motivate Cashiering Supervisors and the cashiering team
  • Facilitate problem-solving and team collaboration

Cashiering Operations Management
  • Monitor POS and swiping machine inventory per store
  • Ensure adherence to end-of-day procedures (Z-Reading and Terminal Reading)
  • Ensure availability of permits and compliance requirements in POS systems
Reporting & Compliance
  • Submit daily compliance monitoring reports
  • Prepare and submit month-end dashboards and operational reports
Store Operations & Customer Experience
  • Conduct store visits to check manpower, supplies, and cashiering operations
  • Ensure efficient checkout transactions and adherence to service standards
  • Address issues related to POS systems, connectivity, and cashier accessibility
Process Improvement & Coordination
  • Review and implement cashiering policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with ICT and Procurement teams for operational support
  • Support pre-opening activities including cashier briefings and readiness checks
Qualifications
  • At least College Level
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in cashiering or retail operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Willing to travel to Luzon and Palawan branches.
