About the Role

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will lead agency activation, recruitment, and productivity across your assigned region. You will work closely with agency leaders to grow their teams, improve performance, and maximize opportunities within the HMO space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive agency activation and productivity in your assigned region
  • Partner with agency leaders to support team development and performance growth
  • Lead quality recruitment initiatives and business opportunity programs
  • Conduct business reviews and coaching sessions with agency leaders
  • Facilitate orientations on compensation, career path, and product offerings
  • Support agencies in cross-selling and up-selling HMO solutions
  • Oversee agency operations including meetings, campaigns, and performance updates
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide field insights
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or related field
  • At least 5 years of sales experience (corporate or equivalent)
  • Experience handling or supporting a distribution channel
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing ability
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and self-motivated
Good-to-Have
  • Experience in insurance, HMO, or agency sales environments
  • Background in leader development or recruitment-driven roles
  • Exposure to regional sales management
