Job Title: Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineer)
Job Summary
The Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the installation and execution of mechanical engineering projects, particularly elevator and escalator systems. The role ensures that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards, technical specifications, and client requirements.The Project Engineer serves as the primary liaison among clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure successful project implementation and turnover.
When- Plan, organize, and supervise project execution from mobilization through project completion and turnover.
- Review project drawings, technical specifications, contracts, and scope of work prior to project implementation.
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to engineering standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies regarding project requirements and progress.
- Supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Identify project risks, technical issues, and delays, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit project reports, accomplishment reports, inspection reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with the Testing and Commissioning Team to ensure successful testing, commissioning, and project acceptance.
- Monitor material requirements and coordinate procurement to avoid project delays.

- Attend project coordination meetings and represent the company during client meetings and site inspections.
- Assist in project billing documentation, punch listing, and final project turnover.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (ME).
- At least 1–3 years of experience in project engineering, construction, mechanical installation, or elevator/escalator projects is an advantage.
- Fresh Licensed Mechanical Engineers are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledgeable in reading mechanical drawings, technical plans, and engineering specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
