Job Summary
  • Accountable for the efficient daily operations and attainment of sales quota of the brand nationwide with close coordination with the Brand and Retail Operations Managers including Visayas and Mindanao.
  • Works closely with the Retail Operations Division Manager in the strategic planning, business review, business development and expansion of the department.
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversees and monitors the operations of the department both in the stores and in the office. Keeps a very well-organized record of all pertinent activity.
  • Monitors the Assistant Retail Operations Managers/Area Supervisors/Coordinators in selling and management skills in terms of implementing policies and procedures related to people, inventory, cash, fixed assets to ensure assets accountability and control, image compliance, sales - based performance training and development, discipline and motivation of personnel
  • Works with the Retail Operations Division Manager in strategic planning, sales forecasting and achieving monthly, quarterly, annual sales objectives.
  • Reviews and recommends policy/system improvements and provided solutions to problems for sustaining and increasing sales as well as the productivity of the department as a whole.
  • Carries out, implements, monitors, and studies projects, ideas, and programs in the department.
  • Co-evaluates the performance of the personnel within the department and gives recommendation for salary adjustment, movement, and promotion.
  • Ensures discipline, resolves issues, and recommends disciplinary actions whenever necessary
  • Studies non-performing stores and oversees improvement.
  • Identifies promising opportunities and recommends expansion in profitable malls.
  • Liaises and maintains good relationship with the leasing department of malls regarding future lease areas, rental concessions and relocation etc.
  • Jointly oversees the opening of stores which involves coordination with the Store Planning & Design/Visual Merchandising Department regarding construction; and with the brand heads regarding merchandise; and with other support departments for all other requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s/ College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, or any business-related courses.
  • At least 2-3 years relevant work experience in the related field.
  • Knowledgeable in all facets of store operations, merchandising, visual merchandising and break even analysis and inventory management
  • Advanced leadership and people handling skills
