Product Specialist - Quezon City
We seek a passionate and results-driven Marketing Product Specialist for Online Resources to join our growing team. The successful candidate will promote, train, and support academic and professional online databases and digital resources for clients across various institutions.
Responsibilities include product demonstration, presentation, and training; developing professional training for sales personnel to enhance product knowledge and sales skills; coordinating customer involvement, including support resources, sales personnel, and management; assisting sales personnel to achieve their quotas; and being knowledgeable about all company products.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s/College degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field; at least one year of experience in the field; preferably one to four years of experience specializing in IT/Computer-Network/System/Database Administration or equivalent; the ability to combine sales, marketing, and technical skills to design, promote, and sell company products; knowledge of Library Automation systems and commonly used databases like Microsoft SQL; knowledge of automated library information systems and electronic resources; knowledge of circulation policies and practices; basic knowledge of reference services and effective use of digital resources; and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies such as customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative, self-management, accountability, flexibility, and adaptability.
Demonstrated ability to use various office-based computer applications, email, and the internet. Multi-tasking capabilities.
