Accounting Officer

About the role

Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position responsible for the company's financial accounting and reporting processes.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
• Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support the annual financial audit process
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the technology industry
• Strong knowledge of relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Proficient in using financial reporting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate financial information effectively
• Directly reporting to the CEO
