Administrative Marketing Assistant (Live Music Venue)

You’ll be joining a small, passionate team revitalizing a small mountain town that industry mined and left behind. In an era where most entertainment happens in bars and clubs purpose-built to generate maximum income off drink sales and locations, we are instead operating a non-profit performing arts venue in a 126 year-old converted Gothic Church in the US's largest historic district, offering more interesting Non-Alcoholic beverages than beer & wine.
By supporting the Covellite Theatre’s daily marketing flow, you’ll help bring over 200 events to life annually—connecting artists, musicians, and audiences, and helping people find meaningful alternatives to isolation and alcohol-centered entertainment.
You will join our Marketing Director and Design Lead to help with recurring marketing tasks (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) like posting event announcements across social media and various online regional events calendars, updating digital promotion signage, keeping the Covellite's voice alive on social media, and submitting press releases and event lists via emails.You’ll support our creative team by handling consistent behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our events running smoothly and our audience in the loop.
We would like to invite someone to join the Covellite Theatre team who can start with the 1st tier basic event announcement routine, and perhaps eventually (as you become more familiar with the Theatre's voice and mission) take on basic graphics updates for our 2nd tier marketing tasks, and/or event ad creation and posting on various platforms.This role will start Part Time, and can expand into more hours for the right team member.
