Job Purpose:

The Quality Assurance Associate will be responsible in ensuring that products, services, or processes meet the established quality standards and requirements. Their primary goal is to identify and address defects, inconsistencies or deviations from established standards to ensure final product or service meets the customer's expectations and regulatory compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts inspections and tests to identify defects or issues in products, services or processes.
• Performs checks at various stages of production or development to catch and correct problems before they reach the end users.
• Analyzes existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Suggest changes, implement best practices and develop new procedures to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
• Prepares and submits reports to immediate superior of findings or problems encountered during the inspection of parts, supplies, units, and their corresponding suggestion to improve production and procedures.
• Communicates with immediate superior any problem encountered in the execution of duty and suggests possible solutions.
• Ensures that the products and processes adhere to industry standards, regulations, and guidelines.
• Maintains compliance with legal and safety requirements as well as any relevant industry-specific standards.
• Regularly review and update quality processes, procedures, and standards based on feedback, technological advancement and changing customer needs.
• Observes company policies, safety rules, proper work ethics and behavior at all times.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

1. Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Technology.
2. Training and certification in Quality Management System is an advantage.
3. Knowledgeable of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, as well as the inspection tools and measuring instruments.
4. With in-depth understanding of Refrigeration components, Electrical wiring inspection, Leak testing and pressure testing, and Product performance testing.
5. With basic knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
6. With at least a minimum of 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in a manufacturing environment, and must be willing to learn and undergo trainings.
7. Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, appliance manufacturing, or electronics manufacturing is preferred.
8. Must be willing to work at Quezon City.
9. Can start ASAP.
