Role Purpose

We are seeking a Junior HR Generalist with foundational experience in HR operations and exposure to North American HR practices. This role will support day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, compliance, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day HR operations aligned with North American employment standards
  • Assist in managing the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, documentation)
  • Support recruitment processes including job postings, ATS updates, interview coordination, and offer preparation
  • Maintain and update HRIS, ATS, and employee records
  • Assist in payroll coordination and benefits administration tasks
  • Create and maintain HR documentation, SOPs, and internal processes
  • Prepare HR reports, track KPIs, and support data analysis
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with US and Canadian employment laws and company policies
  • Handle multiple HR tasks and projects with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support HR initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in HR, preferably as an HR Generalist or HR Assistant
  • Exposure to North American HR practices (US or Canada)
  • Basic understanding of HR operations, recruitment, payroll, and compliance
  • Experience using HRIS and ATS platforms
  • Experience supporting HR documentation, SOPs, or reports
  • HR-related degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Must have a stable high-speed internet connection
  • Professional remote work setup, including a computer and necessary equipment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting US and Canadian employment processes
  • Experience working in remote teams or startups
  • Familiarity with HR metrics and reporting

Working Conditions / Location

This is a fully remote role. We hire candidates from anywhere in the Philippines. The working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET or PT, Monday through Friday. You must have a stable internet connection, a reliable work setup (dual monitors preferred), and a backup plan for power or connectivity interruptions.
