Finance Assistant

About the role

As a Finance Assistant at Homni (Phils) Electronics Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations and reporting. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full-time position is based in Lipa City, Batangas.

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
3. Perform account reconciliations.
4. Maintain and update financial records and databases.
5. Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, filing, and document management
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
7. Contribute to the implementation of financial processes and controls.
8. Organizes and prepares monthly financial documents for submission to the accounting firm.
9. Assist in various banking transactions (e.g., over-the-counter transfers, cash withdrawals, etc.)

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. 1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
4. Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders
6. Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities
7. Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
8. Ability to read and understand the basic financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement)
9. Ability to operate corporate online banking systems.
