Maintenance and facilities engineer

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment, endurance testing machines, and facility systems to ensure high equipment availability.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system issues to reduce equipment downtime.
- Maintain facility systems including HVAC, cooling towers, utilities, and other supporting infrastructure.
- Support calibration activities to ensure equipment accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, repairs, and calibration documentation in accordance with the quality management system.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services, spare parts, and facility improvement projects.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and overall facility performance.
- Provide technical support and respond to urgent equipment or facility maintenance requirements when needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of experience in equipment maintenance, facility engineering, manufacturing, laboratory operations, or related technical work.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship/OJT experience and strong technical aptitude are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of calibration concepts and equipment maintenance processes.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Good documentation, reporting, and MS Office skills.
- Willingness to perform hands-on troubleshooting and support after-hours emergency maintenance when required.
