Accounting Associate

Job Specifications:

• Graduate of Accountancy or any Accounting related courses
• At least One (1) year of relevant work experience
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.
• Handles accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Ensures bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
• Processes due invoices for payments.
• Compares purchase orders, prices, terms of payments and other charges.
• Processes transactions and performs accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries.
• Ensures proper filing of pertinent documents.
• Submits required reports on time and ensures they are accurate.
• Maintains confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Adheres to all safety and company rules and regulations.
• Performs other functions that maybe assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
