Join Our Team: Field Officer (Remote)
IPA Philippines is seeking remote Field Officers for the Interoperability Project’s Pricing and Measurement Studies, which focus on consumer banking transactions and financial behavior. The Field Officers will play a key role in conducting phone surveys and ensure high-quality data is collected.
Job Description:The selected Field Officers will be required to conduct the remote implementation of the Measurement Study's baseline, endline, and monthly surveys, and the Pricing Study's endline survey. They will also pilot the monthly and endline surveys remotely with a small number of respondents prior the implementation.
They will be tasked to perform the following:
- Survey Completion and Improvement: Ensure the completion of at least 4 high-quality remote surveys per day adhering to accuracy and data integrity standards. Pilot the monthly and endline surveys to ensure that issues and challenges are addressed before proper implementation.
- Survey Preparation: Assist in bench testing surveys for accurate translations into local languages and to ensure the forms, assigning cases, and tracking systems are functioning properly.
- Regular Communication with Research Associate and Survey Teams: Maintain consistent communication with Field Coordinators (FCs) and Research Associate (RA), providing timely updates on progress and challenges.
- Administrative Support: Prepare and submit administrative documents accurately and on time, and respond promptly to inquiries from IPA’s HR, finance, and operations teams to facilitate smooth coordination and support project operations.
- Support and Improvement: Perform additional related tasks that enhance survey participation, improve data quality, and assist in achieving project goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience and/or good familiarity with development research.
- Previous experience conducting surveys remotely.
- Previous experience with IPA.
Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Digitally literate (Proficient in using MS Word and Excel and Google online apps (Docs and Sheets), can easily navigate devices, etc.).
- At least 3 years field experience conducting or managing surveys, preferably phone surveys.
- Experience in SurveyCTO or other electronic data collection is a plus.
