Application developer

• Minimum of 1-2 years work experience as PHP programmer.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• Experience in mobile application development is not required but preferred.
• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Technology, or related field.

Junior Application Developer is responsible for developing and modifying source code for software applications. These applications are aimed to ensure user needs are met through the deployment and updates of software. The following are some of the responsibilities but not limited to:

• Designs and develops new system programs and applications that will enhance the business operations
• Protects business information and confidential data at all times.
• Develops programs using different computer languages, such as PHP Laravel Framework and JavaScript
• Creates websites using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrates to a 3rd party software and other ERP systems to produce end-to-end output
• Backs up all systems and data.
• Keeps a centralized library of all system design, documentation, and manuals.
• Performs duties and responsibilities set by the IT Management.
• Encodes project requirements or enhancement by converting work or process flow information into computer language.
• Perform application upgrades and enhancements to ensure the security and efficiency of the software systems.
• Confirm and conduct program tests, program modification, sequence, and codes.
• Provides user reference documents by writing, maintaining, and updating user documentation aligned to system changes and updates.
• Provides technical support to the end-users
• Implements contingency plans in case system failures occur.
• Creates, manages, and maintains coding database
• Develops input screens and output files for content data and statistical reports
• Provides estimated project man-days to Application Developer Team Lead
• Requires to generate knowledge and understanding by studying the current business process and its complications.
• Provides and prepares assessments of the current business process, contemporary business flow design in a Visio format/ readable format document as part of (AS-IS) documentation.
