What is the job?

The US Senior Accountant is responsible in overseeing daily accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and maintains compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily accounting and billing operations, overseeing AR, AP, and Staff Accountants.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, and deferred revenue.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure accurate payment postings.
• Oversee payroll processing, onboarding, PTO tracking, and retail transaction accuracy.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports and support audits and tax documentation.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, ensure compliance, and support system implementations and financial analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance.
• 5 years of accounting experience (including 3 years of US Accounting.)
• Experience in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
• Experience in Microsoft Excel.
