About the role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at DHL Supply Chain Phils., Inc. in Calamba City, Laguna. As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our state-of-the-art warehouse facility.This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career development within our global organisation.
What you'll be doing- Manage and direct all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse productivity, minimise costs, and improve customer service
- Oversee the hiring, training, and performance management of warehouse staff to build a highly skilled and motivated team
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Analyse key performance indicators and generate reports to drive data-driven decision-making
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to senior management on warehouse operations
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations management, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficient in warehouse management systems and data analysis tools
- Thorough understanding of warehouse best practices, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Certification in warehouse or logistics management is a plus
