Who are we looking for:

As an Assistant Building Administration Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety compliance of all Alfamart facilities. You will ensure that buildings and premises are well-maintained, secure, and compliant with safety regulations.

You will lead and coordinate maintenance activities, manage building services, and supervise the facilities team to provide a clean, safe, and efficient working environment across all Alfamart properties.

  • Oversee the maintenance and daily operations of all Alfamart facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely repairs and consistent facility upkeep.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs to ensure operational efficiency and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Monitor and manage building security, including access control systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment to safeguard employees and company assets.
  • Oversee utility services (electricity, water, waste management) and monitor usage for cost efficiency.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and facility operations.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports on building conditions, maintenance status, and budget utilization to senior management.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety by managing janitorial services, waste disposal, and pest control across all facilities.
  • Respond promptly to facility emergencies such as power outages, equipment failures, or safety hazards, and coordinate immediate repairs.
  • Train and guide building staff on safety protocols, facility management best practices, and emergency response procedures.
What does it take to be part of the team?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Facilities Management, Property Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in building administration, facilities management, or property management, with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage maintenance teams and service providers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address facility issues and emergencies effectively.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple buildings and priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with contractors, service providers, and internal teams.
  • Willing to be deployed and fulfill duties at our Alfamart Distribution Center located in Marilao, Bulacan
