A Web Developer is expected to:
- Convert wireframes/mock-ups to responsive user-friendly web pages for optimized customer experiences
- Ensuring our website stack is up to date, including plugins, and staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
- Write clean code in line with, and contribute to, existing tech documentation (instructional, pitch, and technical specification), ensuring they can be easily read and maintained
- Work closely with back-end developers, designers, SEO, and other stakeholders
Qualifications/Requirements
What it takes to be part of our team:
- Minimally 2 years of working experience
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- Shopify Liquid
- HTML/CSS
- High attention to detail
- Have a good understanding of web accessibility through an e-commerce lens
- The ability to scope out projects and translate problems into online solutions in the most efficient
- Have an eye for design and maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the UL
- Confidence in working autonomously to a high level of quality
