The HR Generalist is responsible for managing and executing core human resources functions in a fast-paced BPO environment. This role requires strong hands-on experience in employee relations, Philippine labor law compliance, payroll coordination, and HR operations.

The ideal candidate is confident in handling employee concerns independently, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and partnering with Operations leaders to support workforce needs across multiple accounts. This role plays a key part in maintaining a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workplace.

This position is onsite in Ortigas Center, Pasig and may require flexibility to support shifting schedules or client time zones.

JOB KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Operations & Administration
  • Manage and maintain accurate employee 201 files, contracts, and HR records
  • Oversee contract renewals, employee documentation, and personnel movement updates
  • Generate HR reports, dashboards, and documentation for management and client requirements
  • Coordinate payroll inputs including attendance validation, leave monitoring, and benefits updates
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance reviews
Employee Relations & Labor Compliance
  • Handle employee relations cases including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution in accordance with due process
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies
  • Prepare notices, memoranda, and documentation related to administrative cases
  • Represent HR in employee investigations and facilitate case discussions when necessary
  • Coordinate with government agencies such as DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG for compliance requirements
  • Stay updated on labor law developments and recommend process improvements
Admin, Business & Operations Support
  • Partner with Operations leaders to address workforce concerns and employee performance trends
  • Provide HR guidance to supervisors and managers on policy implementation
  • Support workforce planning, engagement initiatives, and retention strategies
  • Assist in client-related HR requirements and documentation when needed
Employee Engagement & Development
  • Lead or support employee engagement initiatives and company activities
  • Assist in performance management documentation and implementation
  • Support training coordination and career development initiatives
  • Promote a positive, compliant, and professional workplace culture
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support HR projects across multiple accounts
  • Perform other HR and administrative tasks as assigned by management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 3 years of solid HR Generalist and Admin Support experience, preferably in a BPO or shared services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and employee relations processes
  • Proven experience handling disciplinary cases and due process documentation
  • Experience coordinating with government agencies (DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
  • Exposure to payroll coordination and HR compliance processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRIS and payroll systems is an advantage
  • Highly organized with strong documentation and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Willing to work onsite in Ortigas Center, Pasig and adaptable to shifting schedules if required
