Job Description:

The People Engagement and Communications Manager plays a critical role in shaping how employees and external audiences experience and perceive the organization’s culture, values, and people initiatives. This role leads the development and execution of strategic communication programs that strengthen employee engagement, support organizational transformation, and elevate the company’s employer brand across digital and internal platforms.

The role combines storytelling, branding, employee engagement, and change communications to create meaningful and consistent employee experiences. The ideal candidate is both strategically minded and creatively driven, with the ability to translate business and HR initiatives into compelling narratives that resonate internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

Employer Branding & Talent Marketing

Lead and continuously enhance the organization’s employer branding strategy across digital and social platforms.

Manage and grow the company’s employee-focused social media presence, ensuring content reflects the organization’s culture, values, and employee experience.

Develop engaging multimedia content including employee features, workplace stories, event coverage, short-form videos, leadership highlights, and recruitment campaigns.

Partner closely with Talent Acquisition teams to support hiring initiatives through targeted recruitment marketing and talent attraction campaigns.

Ensure consistency of messaging, tone, and visual identity across all employer branding channels.

Monitor social media trends, platform performance, and audience engagement to optimize content strategy and improve reach and visibility.

Foster online community engagement by interacting with prospective candidates, employees, and followers in a professional and brand-aligned manner.

Internal Communications Strategy

Design and implement comprehensive internal communication plans that align with organizational priorities and People & Culture objectives.

Develop communication materials that simplify and effectively explain HR programs, policies, organizational updates, and strategic initiatives.

Create high-impact employee communications including newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, presentations, FAQs, intranet content, and campaign materials.

Partner with senior leaders and business stakeholders to ensure timely and consistent communication across departments and employee groups.

Drive communication cadence and governance to maintain transparency, clarity, and employee alignment throughout the organization.

Continuously improve communication channels and employee reach strategies to enhance effectiveness and engagement.

Change Management & Organizational Communications

Serve as the communications lead for organizational changes, transformation initiatives, and culture-building programs.

Develop communication frameworks and messaging plans that support business transitions and encourage employee understanding and adoption.

Craft empathetic, transparent, and audience-appropriate messaging during periods of organizational change.

Support leadership teams in delivering key announcements, town halls, business updates, and strategic communications.

Anticipate communication risks and proactively manage employee sentiment through clear and responsive messaging.

Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience

Lead internal engagement campaigns that reinforce company culture, employee recognition, inclusion, wellness, and organizational values.

Conceptualize and execute communication initiatives tied to employee milestones, celebrations, engagement activities, and corporate events.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen employee participation and cultivate a positive workplace environment.

Champion storytelling initiatives that highlight employee achievements, team successes, and authentic workplace experiences.

Support the development of programs that improve employee connection, belonging, and engagement across the organization.

Digital Content & Creative Production

Produce high-quality communication assets using digital design and multimedia tools.

Create social-first content tailored for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and internal channels.

Manage content calendars, editorial planning, and campaign timelines.

Ensure all visual and written communications maintain strong brand consistency and professional quality standards.

Stay updated on emerging content formats, employee engagement trends, and digital communication best practices.

Analytics & Reporting

Track and evaluate communication effectiveness using engagement metrics, employee feedback, and digital analytics.

Generate insights and recommendations to improve internal communication reach, employer branding impact, and employee engagement outcomes.

Measure campaign performance across social media, internal platforms, and employee communication initiatives.

Utilize data-driven insights to refine communication strategies and improve audience engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, Journalism, or a related field.

At least 5–8 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, employer branding, social media management, or related fields.

Experience supporting HR, People & Culture, or organizational development initiatives is highly preferred.

Background in fast-paced, high-growth, technology, telecommunications, or corporate environments is an advantage.

Proven experience managing digital content and social media campaigns for employer branding or corporate culture initiatives.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong storytelling and content development capabilities

Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement strategies

Knowledge of employee engagement and organizational communication practices

Ability to translate complex HR concepts into clear and engaging messaging

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Creative mindset with attention to brand consistency and audience relevance

Proficiency in multimedia and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms

Strong project management and organizational skills

High adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
