As a Financial Analyst, you sit at the center of deal viability. You build valuation models, normalize earnings, evaluate risk, and design structures that balance lender requirements and buyer outcomes. This role is about clarity, rigor, and protecting deal economics before capital is deployed.
About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, proactive financial analyst to support valuation and deal structuring across the pipeline. You’ll oversee modeling workflows, ensure financial accuracy, refine assumptions, and jump in during valuation, LOI development, and structuring conversations to ensure deals are financeable and cash-flow sound.Your work directly shapes whether a deal moves forward and how it gets structured.
Results / Success Metrics- Financial models and deal analyses are accurate, actionable, and delivered on time
- Clear recommendations on deal viability and structure are provided to internal teams
- Deal structures balance cash flow, lender requirements, and buyer outcomes
- Improvements to modeling workflows and templates are identified and implemented
- Minimal errors or rework in financial assessments
- Analyze incoming deals to determine debt service capacity and acquisition feasibility
- Build valuation models using templated frameworks, incorporating seller financials, add backs, and key assumptions
- Assess deal viability, evaluating cash flow potential and return expectations under realistic financing scenarios
- Develop 1–3 deal structure options that balance cash flow, lender requirements, and buyer outcomes
- Support internal presentations and review of deal economics and structure
- Identify opportunities to refine and improve financial models and analytical workflows over time
- 2+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, accounting, private equity, or closely related financial roles
- Hands-on experience building or working with financial models
- Familiarity with reviewing P&L statements, balance sheets, add backs, and normalized earnings
- Strong analytical ability with intellectual rigor and sound financial judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable evaluating and discussing deal economics and structures
- Self-starter mindset with desire to continuously improve technical and analytical skills
- Experience supporting fast-paced deal teams or remote work environments
- Motivation to grow into increased responsibility or team leadership
