About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer AND Process and Design Egineer to join our team at our office in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to work with a multinational company on water and waste water treatment plant projects.As Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution and delivery of water treatment and waste water management projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, environmental and commercial objectives. You will serve as a key liaison between technical teams, clients and stakeholders, and your work will have a direct impact on delivering sustainable environmental solutions to our clients.
Key responsibilities- Manage and oversee the day-to-day execution of water and waste water treatment plant projects from initiation through to commissioning and handover
- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments for water treatment and waste water management systems, providing technical recommendations based on engineering principles and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, design drawings, schedules, budgets and progress reports
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including design engineers, procurement specialists, contractors and installers to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget
- Undertake site inspections and audits to monitor construction progress, quality standards and compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- Identify and resolve technical issues and risks during project implementation, proposing practical solutions and preventative measures
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to communicate project status, manage expectations and address concerns or change requests
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental legislation, Philippine engineering standards and international best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share technical knowledge to enhance project delivery processes
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in project engineering, with specific exposure to water treatment, waste water treatment engineering projects
Strong knowledge of water and waste water treatment processes, technologies and chemical solutions used in the industry
Experience managing projects in a multinational or international environment, with the ability to work across different cultures and organisational structures
Proficiency in project management tools, CAD software and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify technical issues and implement effective solutions under pressure
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
Experience with relevant regulatory compliance, including environmental impact assessments and permitting processes, is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
