Job Description
The Project Engineer will oversee and coordinate construction projects to ensure they are executed efficiently, safely, and according to plans and specifications. The role involves assisting in project planning, managing site progress, cost estimation, ensuring compliance with permits and regulations, and maintaining coordination between office, site personnel, clients, and suppliers.
This position is critical in ensuring that the technical, administrative, and coordination aspects of the project are properly aligned with Dunamis Builders and Development Corp.’s standards and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure adherence to plans, schedules, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
- Handle permit applications and ensure compliance with regulatory and local government requirements (Building, Occupancy, Electrical, Sanitary, etc.).
- Prepare project documentation, progress reports, cost estimation, and cost tracking summaries.
- Assist in project planning and scheduling with the Project Manager or Operations Head.
- Monitor and verify quantities, materials, and manpower requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure safety and work quality compliance.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
- Identify potential issues and propose solutions to minimize project delays.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or a closely related field).
- Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) is preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction project engineering / supervision.
- Experience in site work, reading/interpretation of drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
- Able to coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, quality control, cost estimation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Good communication (written and verbal), leadership or supervisory ability, and strong organizational skills.
- Willing to do field/site work regularly; able to adapt to changing timelines and demands.
