Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Organizational Psychology, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations, people analytics, HR reporting, or a closely related role
  • Experience producing recurring HR reports, dashboards, and workforce insights for senior leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Hands-on experience with an enterprise HRIS platform; UKG Pro experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate workforce data into actionable business insights
  • Experience partnering with HR Business Partners or supporting HR functions in a generalist capacity
  • High level of discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential workforce data
  • Experience supporting multi-state or geographically distributed workforces
Preferred
  • Experience producing Executive Leadership Team (ELT) or board-level people reports
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or a comparable HR certification is an advantage

Responsibilities

Executive & Leadership Reporting
  • Own and produce the weekly people metrics report for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), covering headcount, attrition, open requisitions, hiring velocity, and other key workforce indicators.
  • Build and maintain executive dashboards that provide HR leadership with real-time visibility into workforce health, partnering with the Director of Total Rewards & HRIS to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly HR insights by translating workforce data into trend analyses, executive summaries, and actionable recommendations.
  • Support board-level people reporting and ad hoc executive requests as directed by senior HR leadership.
Retention, Turnover & Workforce Trend Analysis
  • Produce weekly retention reports tracking voluntary and involuntary attrition, regretted and non-regretted departures, tenure at exit, department-level retention rates, and other workforce trends.
  • Lead monthly retention analyses by connecting exit interview themes, cohort retention trends, and leading flight-risk indicators into targeted recommendations.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to deliver workforce insights, identify emerging retention concerns, and develop targeted retention and engagement strategies.
  • Track, analyze, and report employee turnover by department, tenure, manager, role level, and geography, highlighting trends that require leadership attention.
  • Monitor workforce health metrics, including absenteeism, internal mobility, promotion rates, time-to-fill, and engagement survey results, translating findings into actionable recommendations for HR and business leaders.
HRBP & HR Leadership Partnership
  • Serve as the primary analytics partner for HRBPs by providing department-level workforce data, trend reports, and business insights.
  • Produce and analyze recurring workforce reports that identify emerging patterns and support client group planning and leader discussions.
  • Participate in HRBP meetings to align reporting priorities, identify workforce concerns, and support strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership on workforce planning, headcount forecasting, span-of-control analyses, and organizational health reviews.
  • Assist in developing data-driven business cases for HR programs, policy changes, and strategic investments.
HR Program & Cycle Support
  • Support annual merit, incentive compensation, and performance review cycles through data preparation, participant reporting, and completion tracking.
  • Track and report key HR program metrics, including performance rating distributions, merit increase summaries, and compensation equity indicators.
  • Audit UKG data for accuracy, identify issues, and partner with the Total Rewards & HRIS team to maintain reliable, up-to-date reporting.
  • Prepare HR compliance reports, leave and accommodation summaries, and other regulatory or audit-related reporting requirements.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort and accelerate reporting.
  • Recommend new metrics, reporting views, and analytical approaches that enhance workforce insights for HR and business leaders.
  • Stay current with people analytics best practices, workforce benchmarking, and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Travel occasionally for team offsites or company events, as business needs require.
  • Perform extended computer-based work while participating in regular virtual collaboration and leadership meetings.
