Job Responsibilities:
- Supports the Finance Manager in overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations. This role assists with revenue reconciliation, financial reporting, audit preparation, and supervising accounting staff. The assistant manager helps ensure accurate and timely month-end closings and supports the development of efficient accounting procedures.
- Responsible in the proper and timely recording of the revenues and expenses, assets and liabilities of the Casino.
- Responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective processing and reporting of all gaming transactions and the timely and accurate closing process at the end of each reporting period.
- Ensures that all aspects of gaming finance and accounting are carried out in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures and in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Reviews journal entries and ensure accurate and timely closing for each accounting cycles.
- Responsible on P&L and BS key account reconciliations and ensures discrepancies are well accounted and resolved in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and assist with implementation of enhancements.
- Provide direction and support to general accountants, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of duties.
- Maintains stable cash flow and monitors bank account related to the gaming operations.
- Prepares monthly financial statements and other gaming financial reports or analysis.
- Responsible on the dissemination of Casino financial reports to the Management and to other internal and external stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- College graduate preferably with Accounting or Management Accounting background or Accounting-related course.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) will be an advantage.
- Relevant work experience as an Asst. Accounting Manager.
- Experience with accounting software - SAP and Sun system.
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, for data analysis, reporting, and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial information and drive strategic problem-solving.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of guiding teams and facilitating collaboration.
