We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Registered Nurse to join our Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) team. In a high-pressure BPO setting, you will be responsible for providing immediate clinical care, promoting employee wellness, and ensuring the company remains compliant with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) standards.You will play a critical role in maintaining a healthy, productive workforce through both emergency response and preventative health programs.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Emergency Response: Provide first aid and emergency medical interventions for employees; manage the clinic's daily operations and medical supplies.Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to DOLE OSH Standards and Republic Act No. 11058. Maintain accurate medical records and health certificates.
Health Surveillance: Conduct regular health assessments and screenings; monitor employees with chronic conditions or those returning from medical leave (Fit-to-Work clearances).
Health & Wellness Promotion: Assist in developing and implementing industrial clinic programs, including mental health initiatives, ergonomic assessments, and vaccination drives.
Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary health-related reports (e.g., WAIR, Annual Medical Report) to management and regulatory bodies.Collaboration: Coordinate with the OSH committee and HR department to enhance workplace safety and incident prevention.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education & LicensingMust be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Completion of OH Nurse Training is a significant advantage (e.g., BOSH for Nurses, or OHN course from accredited institutions).
ExperiencePreferred: Experience in occupational health, emergency care, clinical nursing, or workplace health administration.
Bonus: Prior experience working in a BPO/Industrial clinic or managing employee wellness programs.
Skills & CompetenciesClinical Excellence: Strong clinical assessment and first-aid skills.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Philippine OSH laws and workplace health protocols.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for report writing and employee counseling.
Professionalism: High ethical standards, good moral character, and the ability to maintain strict medical confidentiality.
Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Working ConditionsLocation: Calamba, Los Baños, and Bay Laguna
Schedule: Must be willing to work on shifting schedules (including night shifts), as required by the 24/7 nature of BPO operations.
Physicality: Must be physically fit to respond to emergencies across the production floor and perform clinical duties.
