The Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO) is a strategic executive responsible for driving the digital transformation of the organization, overseeing information technology (IT) infrastructure, digital innovation, cybersecurity, and data management.The CIDO will align digital and IT initiatives with the company's long-term business goals, ensuring competitive advantage through technology and data-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Transformation- Develop and lead the organization’s digital vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
- Champion innovation and digital culture across the organization.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure IT operations are stable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
- Lead the adoption of cloud computing, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
- Establish a data governance framework and drive organization-wide data literacy.
- Leverage data analytics, AI, and business intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with regulations
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies to protect digital assets and data.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Stay abreast of cyber threats and industry best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and build high-performing digital and IT teams.
- Collaborate with other C-suite executives to integrate digital priorities into all aspects of the business.
- Serve as the digital and IT liaison to the board of directors and external stakeholders.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field;
- 15+ years of progressive experience in IT/digital roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity and with regional exposure.
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation and enterprise technology strategies.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, data management, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology with organizational goals.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.
