Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Ambica International Corporation, a leading player in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their dynamic team based in Pasay City, Metro Manila. As a full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing and optimising the company's end-to-end supply chain operations.

1. Warehouse & Logistics Management:

• Supervise the warehouse team to ensure proper receiving, handling, and storage of sensitive medical items.
• Maintain GDP standards, particularly regarding temperature-controlled storage and "cold chain" logistics.
• Optimize inventory levels using demand forecasting to prevent stockouts or excessive waste.

1. Distribution & Distribution Network:

• Organize efficient distribution routes to reach wholesalers, hospitals, and pharmacies on time.
• Select and manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers for specialized transport needs.
• Ensure accurate tracking of commodities from the depot to the final destination.

1. Compliance & Process Improvement:

• Serve as the guarantor for all regulatory filings related to imported drugs and medical devices.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Lead internal and external audits for supply chain and warehouse operations.
• Developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies to drive efficiency, cost savings and customer satisfaction
• Coordinating and managing all logistics activities, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution
• Analysing data and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance supply chain performance
• Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration between manufacturing, procurement, and logistics
• Monitoring and reporting on key supply chain metrics to senior management
• Implementing and maintaining inventory control systems to optimise stock levels
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer service

• 7+ years of proven experience in a supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation planning
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement
• Proficient in using supply chain management software and technologies
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Thorough knowledge of supply chain best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
