Flinders Lane Cafe is seeking a dedicated and reliable Full Time Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. If you are a fast learner with a passion for quality and food safety, we want to hear from you!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and execute dishes according to exact specifications.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and safely operate equipment (induction cookers, deep fryers, and rice cookers).
- Compliance & Inventory: Strictly adhere to food health and safety regulations while assisting with inventory and supply ordering.
- Efficiency: Thrive in a fast-paced environment through exceptional time management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: At least 6 months in a kitchen or ala carte setting (preferred but not required).
- Education: Degree/Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management or NC II in Cookery (preferred but not required).
- Attributes: Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to undergo training.
- Willingness to work on holidays and weekends
