Compensation: (Starting base: ₱18,000.00)

Position Overview

DJA Law Office is seeking a dynamic and highly resourceful Legal Liaison Officer to join our Legal Operations division. This role serves as the firm’s primary external representative and physical conduit to various regulatory, administrative, and government bodies.

The successful candidate will navigate bureaucratic frameworks to ensure the seamless execution, filing, and procurement of critical legal and statutory documentation.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
  • Serve as the official, accredited liaison between the firm and key regulatory authorities, with primary emphasis on the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
  • Conduct daily, time-sensitive field operations and site visits to government offices across Metro Manila to process, submit, and retrieve essential legal instruments, permits, and clearances.
  • Monitor, interpret, and provide timely briefings to the Legal Operations Manager regarding shifting regulatory mandates, labor compliance requirements, and immigration protocols.
  • Assist the Legal Operations Manager in compiling, verifying, and organizing complex legal dossiers to ensure zero-defect submissions to administrative bodies.
  • Maintain meticulous, chronological records and transaction logs of all external engagements, submissions, and regulatory outcomes to preserve operational transparency.
  • Execute daily directives, routes, and priorities issued by the Legal Operations Manager, ensuring strict compliance with institutional deadlines.
Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Fresh graduates possessing a sharp analytical mind, professional maturity, and an interest in legal administration are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the legal assets handled, candidates must possess and present valid, current clearances from the following institutions:
  • National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
  • Philippine National Police (PNP) Clearance
  • Advanced literacy in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat/PDF software.
  • Core Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills tailored for formal and bureaucratic environments.
  • Exceptional organizational faculties with a strict, self-imposed standard of attention to detail.
  • High degree of situational awareness ("street-smart" acumen) and the resilience required to navigate complex field scenarios under time constraints.

  • Competitive starting salary guaranteed at ₱18,000.00 per month.

Special Conditions of Employment

  • The operational demands of this role preclude introductory training wheels. No introductory trial periods will be provided; the candidate must demonstrate immediate capability to execute field assignments independently upon onboarding.
