About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Promomash'. In this full-time, working REMOTELY you will be responsible for maintaining and growing key client relationships for our consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand portfolio.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Accountable for analyzing and reconciling all deductions.
  • Monitor the Accounts Receivable Aging Report and web portals for assigned accounts.
  • Identify and resolve open deductions stemming from various customer claims, including claims related to disputes over prices, discounts, shortages, returns, and delivery requirements.
  • Collaborate internally with team members from various departments, including Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to successfully research the validity of deductions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. open aging, etc)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Provide guidance, leadership and mentoring to fellow team members.
  • Attach all necessary documentation in PM Platforms.
  • Maintain detailed spreadsheets as well as updating workflow in PM Platforms on all open items on customer portfolio.
  • Assess first actions needed as soon as deductions are generated.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance Sales, or relevant field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel and word)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Detail oriented and able to work with less supervision
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
  • Able to work during the specified hours within 7am to 4pm EST
