DCEC ENGLISH ASSISTANT MANAGER (FULL-TIME) – MAKATI

Salary: ₱40,000 – ₱45,000

We are a Japanese-affiliated company committed to delivering high-quality English education and professional client service. We are looking for a competent and responsible DCEC English Assistant Manager who can lead both teaching and operational functions.

Instructor Responsibilities:

  • Conduct English lessons for Japanese adults and children (both in-class and online)
  • Meet and greet clients
  • Create lesson plans and teaching materials
  • Uphold professionalism and respect in the workplace
  • Attend monthly general meetings
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities to ensure productivity and efficiency
  • Supervise the work of all English teachers, including database/mail mag dialogue creation, attendance checking and submission, and other curriculum related tasks
  • Arrange lesson and other curriculum-related schedules
  • Oversee and address company lessons-related matters and concerns including updating of company lesson file
  • Maintain and update learners’ records in the RRCM file
  • Oversee preparation and delivery/implementation of lesson reports, placement/ level-up tests, recommendation, and certificates
  • Take charge of all the preparations and necessities related to new offerings/books
  • Lead training of new hires and assist with resource management
  • Ensure accurate Google Calendar entries and proper coordination with teachers and staff regarding classes and related tasks
  • Coordinate, prepare and supervise company activities for longstay/ shortstay clients and all DCEC English learners
  • Collaborate with other departments
  • Participate in DCEC English SNS and Marketing activities
  • Provide regular feedback and suggestions regarding services and office operations
  • Treat colleagues and superiors with respect and dignity
  • Observe professionalism at all times
  • Attend General Meetings once a month
  • Undertake other relevant tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • Native-level English proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Teaching experience is an advantage
  • Business or supervisory experience is a plus
  • Must be residing in NCR and willing to report onsite in Makati

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • High level of professionalism and accountability
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
  • Tech-savvy (basic troubleshooting for PC and online platforms)
  • Reliable work-from-home setup (minimum 50 Mbps internet, PC/laptop, headset)
  • Willing to learn and adapt to company systems and teaching methods
  • Positive attitude, disciplined, and team-oriented

Work Requirements:

  • Full-time position (early afternoon to 10:00 PM, PH Time)
  • Flexible schedule (may include mornings, weekends, or holidays with offset)
  • Willing to undergo 2-week paid full-time training
  • Willing to undergo a 6-month probationary period
  • Can start immediately
