Truck Driver (6-Wheeler)

Job Description:

The driver also ensures that cargo is loaded and unloaded properly and reports any mechanical issues or delays promptly. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols and proper vehicle maintenance.

1. Routinary Responsibilities
2. 1. Safely operate trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations as assigned by the company.
3. 2. Ensure timely pickup and delivery of cargo, adhering to assigned schedules and routes.
4. 3. Assist in loading and unloading of goods, ensuring cargo is properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
5. 4. Plan routes effectively, taking into consideration traffic, road conditions, and delivery deadlines to minimize delays.
6. 5. Checking for mechanical issues, fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety equipment.
7. 6. Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle both inside and outside, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
8. 7. Conduct basic truck maintenance, such as checking oil levels, fuel, brakes, and tire condition.
9. 8. Monitor fuel consumption and refuel vehicles as needed, keeping accurate records of fuel usage.
10. 9. Adhere to local traffic laws, driving safely and responsibly at all times to avoid accidents or violations.
11. 10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including delivery receipts, trip logs, fuel receipts, and other reports.
12. 11. Report any mechanical issues, delays, accidents, or incidents to the fleet supervisor or dispatch team immediately.
13. Other Responsibilities
14. 1. Performs other related duties that may be assigned to which will be necessary for the Transport Department.

• At least five (5) years of driving experience as a Trailer Truck Driver.
• At least high school graduate
• Must possess a valid Professional Driver’s License (Restriction 1, 2, 3 and 8) in the Philippines.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations, routes, and areas within the Philippines.
• Must be able to read and write basic reports/logs.
