CEBU CITY | ONSITE | MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS | MID SHIFT
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:- Process and manage payrolls for all employees accurately and on time, including government contributions (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, MP2), tax withholdings, last pay computations, annualization, BIR Form 2316, releases, waivers, and related employee benefits.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger, trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable; ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
- Prepare, submit, and track all statutory reports, tax filings, and compliance requirements including BIR forms (withholding taxes, VAT, final taxes, quarterly/annual income tax returns, documentary stamp taxes), SEC/DTI registrations, business permits, andsupporting documentation for audits.
- Maintain complete asset records, including purchase receipts, asset schedules, leases, land titles, and other supporting documents and track lapsing schedules and ensure accurate reporting.
- Generate financial reports, summaries, and analyses to support management decisions, including budget request consolidation, allocation checks, and annual dues or memberships tracking.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier invoices, payments, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition; monitor trade and other
- Administer timekeeping, attendance, and leave processes, including daily tracking of edits, approvals, overbreaks, tardiness, absences, and DST schedules.
- Update employee records, including additions, terminations, salary adjustments, allowances, and position changes; coordinate with HR on approvals and inquiries.
- Oversee bank and financial transactions, including recording funds received, printing bills/invoices, and reconciling deposits for multiple accounts and operational categories.
- Maintain and update all correspondence and reporting through internal systems and tools (QuickBooks, Amazon Seller Central, MS Teams, emails), ensuring proper documentation and timely follow-ups.
- Respond to management queries and provide clarifications during reviews, discussions, and approvals for payroll, financial, and compliance matters.
Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in payroll processing, government contributions, tax withholdings, and employee benefits.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Philippine statutory compliance (BIR, SEC, DTI, business permits).
- Proficiency in general ledger, trial balance, financial statements, cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Experience preparing tax filings, statutory reports, audit documentation, and compliance records.
- Skilled in maintaining asset records, leases, purchase receipts, lapsing schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Ability to generate financial analyses, budget tracking, and management reports.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, MS Excel, Amazon Seller Central, MS Teams, and internal reporting tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with high accuracy and integrity in handling confidential financial information.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
