Product Reliability Engineer

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electromechanical / Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Possess a strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, methodologies and environment, with at least five years proven experience working in a product reliability test and tear down analysis role
- Familiar with office and quality management software, such as Excel/Word.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Entel products and their stated performance parameters in line with both Customer expectations and regulatory test house requirements
- Central point of contact for all reliability enquiries including priority planning and schedule updates
- Liaising with Production and Quality, generate a frequency for production batch testing, identifying and reporting on performance and support with the resolution of production issues
- Liaising with R&D and Engineering, ensure requested tests are undertaken correctly during new product qualification but review and determine any necessary additional testing not already requested that would help determine the true expected lifecycle of the product when launched.
- Perform highly analytical assessments of all product and generate technical reports on findings including root cause analysis and opportunities for improvement in either product, process or test methods
- Liaise with Quality and Supply Chain in the event of identifying any risks or improvements related to component quality
- Identify and generate the necessary critical data to provide concise statistical data and / or trends on performance
