Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support inventory accounting, fixed asset monitoring, and finance administrative functions. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records, timely reconciliations, compliance with internal controls, and the preparation of reports and supporting schedules required for financial reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Accounting
  • Generate and prepare inventory-related reports from Oracle and MFGPro.
  • Perform inventory valuation and maintain supporting schedules.
  • Reconcile physical inventory records with system balances.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to inventory.
  • Assist in cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts, including documentation and reporting.
Fixed Asset & Asset Tagging Support
  • Support asset tagging initiatives (RFID, barcode, or similar tracking systems).
  • Monitor asset movements and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure proper documentation of asset transfers, disposals, and updates.
Finance Administrative Support
  • Perform finance-related administrative tasks, including monitoring actual spending and budget utilization.
  • Maintain complete and organized documentation for all transactions.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, PEZA requirements (if applicable), and local regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in inventory accounting, finance operations, or a similar role.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, MFGPro, SAP, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory reconciliation, fixed asset accounting, and month-end closing processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Expected Deliverables
  • Accurate and timely inventory and finance transaction processing.
  • Completion of inventory and account reconciliations within agreed timelines.
  • Timely submission of month-end closing requirements.
  • Audit-ready documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
