Manager, Energy Resource

What you need to be great in this role:

• Works closely and coordinates Renewable Resource Team activities to the Engineering Head.
• Leads the Renewable Resource in providing innovative solutions needed for the Project.
• Oversee all approved renewable resource technical services for Projects under Project Development, Project Execution and O&M Department.
• Tracks the Renewable Resource Team schedule of activities to ensure that deadlines are met and goals accomplished.
• Provides crucial input during the preparation of Design Criteria, Employer Requirements, engineering drawings, and tender documents.
• Ensures that the Renewable Resource calculations and output for Projects are accurate and within the minimum quality requirements established by the PMO.

What you need to be great in this role:

• Educational Attainment:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Water Resources), Environmental Science, Meteorology, or related field
2. Master's Degree in Renewable Energy, Hydrology, Energy Systems, or Business Management is an advantage

Licensure: PRC Engineer

• Special Courses/Trainings:

1. Training in renewable and water resource assessment, modeling, and energy yield analysis
2. Proficiency in hydrological analysis, forecasting, and climate data interpretation
3. Knowledge of uncertainty analysis, sustainability practices, and reporting standards

• Functional/Technical Skills:

1. Resource assessment and simulation tools (e.g., PVsyst, WindPRO, HOMER, or equivalent)
2. Hydrological and water resource modeling tools (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, or similar)
3. Data analysis tools (Excel advanced, Python, MATLAB, or similar)
4. GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) is an advantage
5. Ability to evaluate site feasibility and resource potential (solar irradiance, wind speeds, hydrology, water flow, geothermal resources)
6. Knowledge of project development and feasibility studies
