Senior Accounting Associate - AU Account

• Manage and supervise a team of five (5) finance staff.
• Lead the month-end close process and achieve a five (5) business day month-end close.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliations.
• Complete stock and inventory reconciliations.
• Perform GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly prepayments reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset reconciliations (bi-annually).
• Prepare and lodge Australian BAS (Business Activity Statements) on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare and manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns annually.
• Monitor KPIs and assist in improving working capital performance, including reduction of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and internal controls.
• Coordinate with management and provide guidance to the finance team.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably supporting Australian clients.
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant capacity.
• Proven experience supervising and mentoring staff.
• Hands-on experience with Xero, M1 (ECI System), Simpro, and Syft is required.
• Must have practical experience with the following:

▪Australian BAS preparation and lodgment.

▪Australian Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT).

▪Month-end and year-end closing.

▪General Ledger reconciliations.

▪Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

reconciliations.

▪Stock/Inventory reconciliations.

▪GRNI reconciliations.

▪Fixed Asset accounting.

▪Financial reporting and KPI monitoring.
