Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Gym Attendant with a background in Sports Science to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the gym remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all members, while also applying their sports science knowledge to support basic member needs related to exercise and wellness

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Sports Science or a related field
• Strong understanding of fitness principles, injury prevention, and exercise techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Physically fit and active
• CPR or First Aid certification is a plus
• Previous experience in a gym or fitness facility is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet members and ensure proper check-in procedures
• Monitor gym floor to ensure safety, proper use of equipment, and cleanliness
• Re-rack weights and sanitize equipment regularly
• Provide basic assistance and guidance on equipment usage
• Report broken or unsafe equipment immediately
• Enforce gym rules and promote a respectful environment
• Assist in member inquiries and provide fitness-related information when appropriate
• Support trainers or fitness coaches during group sessions (if needed)
