Junior Network Administrator (f/m)

As member of the Global Infrastructure Delivery Team the Network Administrator located in Manila takes over responsibility for the IT Network and ensure seamless operation of the LAN/WLAN and WAN environment

• Take responsibility for the installation, integration and expansion of the IT network.
• Provide remote administration, pro-active monitoring and system maintenance on the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN) including Data centers.
• Analyze and resolve issues on a 24/7 basis
• Be the first contact for Network issues as part of the 2nd level support
• Document the network infrastructure
• Maintain network security and protect against security risks, apply security fixes, and monitor system activity.
• Ensure system compliance with the security and privacy policies and other regulations such as NIST 800-171, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
• Closely collaborate with other infrastructure support teams
• Daily written and oral communications with coworkers and Operations Delivery Manager
• Continually improve personal knowledge and skills relevant to current duties, through on the job experience, self-directed research or formal training
• Works in shifts and takes part in the on-call duty

Your Profile

3 years of IT Network administration in a global environment

Hands on experience on:

• Cisco switching platforms and Cisco routing platforms
• Fortinet Firewall
• FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer
• Cisco Meraki access points
• NAC/ClearPass/TACACS/RADIUS
• SolarWinds
• Datacenter Network

• Routing protocols (BGP and OSPF)
• IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, MPLS and SDWAN concepts
• VLAN and VXLAN concepts
• Network control protocols (QoS, NTP, DHCP)
• Network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP)
• Security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA)
• DNS, STP, HSRP and Proxy configurations
• Load balancers
• Ability to handle network issues independently
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Passion towards new trends in technology
• CCNA required
• Fortinet certification desired
