Social Media Video Editor

The ideal candidate is a fast and consistent editor who can maintain a defined visual style, manage a high-volume output, and work independently while remaining responsive and receptive to creative direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts on an ongoing basis
• Design eye-catching YouTube thumbnails that attract views and drive strong click-through rates
• Edit all content in alignment with the company's established visual style and branding guidelines
• Consistently manage a high-volume editing workload of 30 to 40 videos per month
• Repost and adapt content across multiple social media platforms as required
• Maintain consistent quality, pacing, and visual style across all short-form content output
• Communicate proactively about timelines, blockers, and completed deliverables
• Stay current on short-form video trends across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts to keep content fresh and competitive

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience editing short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Strong proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable tools
• Experience designing YouTube thumbnails with a confident and polished visual sensibility
• Ability to replicate and sustain a consistent editing style across large volumes of content
• Capable of delivering fast turnarounds without compromising on quality
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and a constructive, open approach to feedback

Preferred Skills:

• Experience editing content within the education, consulting, or professional services space
• Familiarity with repurposing long-form content into concise and engaging short-form clips
• Experience managing or publishing content across multiple social media platforms
• Up-to-date knowledge of short-form video trends and platform-specific best practices
• Ability to suggest creative improvements that go beyond basic execution
• Experience working within a defined brand style guide or editorial brief
