About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Financial Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, hybrid work from home role based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As the Accounting and Financial Operations Manager, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the group's financial functions to our senior leadership team and group shareholders.
What you'll be doing- Manage and oversee the group's day-to-day Accounting, Financial Operations with Controller functions, including preparation and presentation of Financial Reports - Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Income Statement / P&L.
- Responsible for timely reporting of Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Income Statement / P&L every month, quarter, and annual.
- Conduct group financial report analysis to provide recommendations to the management team
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations; including but not limited to BIR requirements and Taxes. (eg. SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig, local permits and renewals, BSP, etc).
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the finance department
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Not required but good to have: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar finance / accounting / controller role, preferably in the IT / Payment Channels or Payment Service industry
- Proficient in Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Income Statement / P&L preparation, review, controllership and analysis
- Proficient / Expert in Google Sheets and data processing
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software and Google workspace.
- Hybrid, with 1x per week required to be in office and First Fridays of the month
- Work hours is 8:00am to 5:00pm.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field.
